Full kitchen strip out scope

• Removal of all base, wall, and tall cabinetry

• Benchtop removal - stone, laminate, timber, stainless

• Splashback removal - glass, tile, stone, or pressed metal

• Appliance disconnection and removal - oven, cooktop, rangehood, dishwasher, fridge

• Sink, tapware, and waste removal with plumbing capped

• Gas line isolation and capping by licensed gas fitter

• Electrical fittings removed and isolated to the switchboard

• Soffit and bulkhead removal where new ceiling lines are planned

• Floor tile or floorboard removal under the kitchen footprint

• Wall preparation back to bare substrate where new tiles or panels go in

What separates a clean strip out from a messy one

Three things. First, services are properly isolated and capped before any cabinetry is touched. Second, the splashback comes off in a way that doesn't destroy the gyprock behind it. Third, the floor under the cabinets - which usually has old tiles, vinyl, or unfinished surface - is taken back to a level the next trade can work with. Most kitchens hide a different floor finish under the cabinetry than the rest of the room. We always check, document, and quote that into the scope before we start. No mid-job surprises about extra hours.

Open-plan kitchens and structural changes

Plenty of Sydney renovations involve removing a kitchen wall to open the space into the living area. Where that wall is non-load-bearing, we handle the removal. Where it's load-bearing, we work alongside the builder and structural engineer to remove the wall and install the temporary or permanent support. We don't touch a load-bearing element without engineer sign-off. Ever.

Why we get called back

Kitchen suppliers and cabinet makers refer us because we hand the site over level, clean, and ready for measurement. Cabinet makers can't measure a final scribe over uneven walls or floors covered in old adhesive. We hand the space over so the next trade can do their job properly the first time.
