What causes the water damage we handle

  • Burst and leaking pipes

  • Storm and flash flooding - common across low-lying Sydney suburbs

  • Roof leaks and failed flashing during heavy rain

  • Overflowing gutters and blocked drains

  • Failed waterproofing in bathrooms and balconies

  • Hot water system failures

  • Appliance leaks - dishwashers, washing machines

  • Sewer and stormwater backflow

Our water extraction process

1. Rapid response and assessment

We get to site fast, assess the source and extent of the water, stop the ingress where we can, and identify what's at risk. The faster the water comes out, the less damage it does.

2. Water extraction

Standing water removed with truck-mounted and portable extraction units. Carpet, underlay, and saturated materials lifted and removed where they can't be saved. The aim is to get every litre out, not just the visible surface water.

3. Structural drying

This is the step that prevents the second wave of damage. Industrial air movers and dehumidifiers dry the structure - subfloor, wall cavities, and materials that hold moisture. We monitor moisture levels until the structure is genuinely dry, not just dry to the touch.

4. Mould prevention

Sydney's humidity makes mould a real risk after any water event. We treat affected areas to prevent mould taking hold and advise on what needs removal or remediation if it's already started.

Why speed matters more than anything

Water damage is progressive. The first few hours are about removing standing water. After that, the damage moves into the structure - swelling, warping, delamination, and the beginnings of mould. A property dried within 24 to 48 hours usually avoids the worst structural damage. A property left wet for a week often needs sections rebuilt. That's why we prioritise rapid response.

Water extraction across Sydney

We respond across the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, and Sydney CBD, plus Parramatta, the Hills District, Sutherland Shire, and Western Sydney. Homes, apartments, strata common areas, offices, retail, and warehouses. We work with homeowners, property managers, strata committees, and businesses, and we document the event thoroughly for insurance claims.

Documentation for your insurance claim

  • Photographic record of the water damage on arrival

  • Moisture readings before and after drying

  • Scope of extraction and drying works

  • Record of materials removed

  • Completion documentation suitable for insurer assessment
